GIVE LIFESAVING A GO
Supported by VicHealth and #thisgirlcan
Our Give Lifesaving A Go sessions are designed to promote the sport of Surf Life Saving through friendly and social training sessions. These sessions will be more relaxed compared to Club activities on a weekend, and will be suited to people who are new to the Club or those who would like to give surf lifesaving a go. They aim to build confidence in our participants. These will also be great for current lifesavers who want to keep their skills up.
We have planned for 12 sessions, and activities will include open water swims, paddle boarding and sand events and incorporate a social function. This will then lead into a Surf Rescue Certificate Course, the first step in becoming a lifesaver in the red and yellow, or a competitor at sports carnivals.
These sessions will be located at Aspendale LSC, Groves Street Aspendale.
